We’ve updated Wireless Consumers, including a new design from Brian Gardner and a new focus. On Friday we’ll begin covering two core areas of main interest to wired consumers: online purchases and Internet services. We’ll comment on the happenings of eBay and Amazon, the two largest online sellers. Already, eBay has made news with its fee overhaul and decision to muzzle some outspoken sellers. Amazon, which began as an Internet book seller, is branching out this year into a Netflix rival, selling Internet television episodes, and challenging Apple’s grip on music downloads with an MP3 service.
